Lmu Spring 2022 Calendar – This workshop will introduce the instructor to the TILT method through small interventions that have a big impact on job design. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to modify low-risk and high-risk activities to promote student accountability and responsibility for their own learning.

As part of the curriculum, CTE conducts a six-part Global Design for Learning workshop. This approach creates equity and inclusion in the classroom through five design elements: goal setting, classroom layout, learning materials, assessment, and reflection.

** Day and evening students may meet at the teacher’s discretion, and students may wish to participate in in-class activities, for example, class, review, test. First day and evening classes do not meet on open class days as they are reserved for first year midterm and first year evening exams.

The Cultural Consciousness Conversation is a group of faculty, staff, and administrators from different areas of campus who meet once a month to talk and learn from each other. LMU community. The purpose of this program is to foster relationships between groups, including dialogue and discussion of differences.

Report Out Sessions

At the System Analyst Report Session, organizations will share their ongoing work and receive feedback from the community. All sections are welcome to report or attend the workshop. This is an opportunity for faculty and staff to give feedback on the process, discuss important topics and lessons, and give feedback to each other.

Attendees will benefit from reports that provide examples and methods to guide their own work. Focusing on small changes to course design, this workshop will help educators reconfigure the entire course using the TILT (Transparency in Learning and Teaching) approach.

Workshop participants will learn how to revise the curriculum and develop a set of informal tools to monitor student progress, empowering students to self-assess and monitor course materials. The Classic Design Workshop provides an overview of the eight steps of the System Design process.
