This process will not change a student’s busing eligibility, but parents/guardians of students who are eligible for K-12 transportation will need to indicate how their student will travel to and from school.

The school board has selected Dr. Kim Hiel to lead the Osseo Schools. Prior to being selected for the role, Hiel participated in an hour-long interview on February 27th, followed by a day-long interview on March 1st that will include interviews with staff, scholars, parents/guardians and community members.

From October 3rd to October 14th, you can make a voluntary tax-deductible donation to the 279 Great District. Learning through Twin Cities United Foundation Way and/or the nonprofit of your choice Osseo Area Schools’ 2022 Employee Giving Campaign eP Day aims to overcome the loss of instructional time due to weather-related school cancellations.

eLearning Days will provide opportunities for our district to meet regulations related to student instructional time in addition to holding days. Staff and families will be notified that a weather-related cancellation is an eLearning day at least two hours prior to the start of the regular school day using our standard weather cancellation communication protocol.
