Skip to contentOsu Academic Calendar Spring 2022 – As you may already know, the Office of the University Registrar has recently made changes to the University’s academic calendar. These changes include a new start date for the summer term of 2022. The first day of summer 2022 has been moved from Wednesday, May 11, 2022 to Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Note: Review the Short, Internet, and Outreach Course Programs to determine the unique drop/add and withdrawal periods for these courses. Additional deadlines apply to graduate students. View the Graduate Academic Calendar. Because the Graduate School sets dates and procedures based on the academic calendar, the changes outlined above should recognize Monday, May 9, 2022 as the last day of the Graduate School’s spring 2022 semester.

The End of Season (EOS) option will take place on Monday, May 9, 2022. The graduation calendar has been adjusted on the graduation website. Also, May 9, 2022 is the last day that a doctoral student successfully completes the doctoral candidacy examination in the spring 2022 semester and will be considered a post-candidate student beginning in the summer 2022 semester.

By Friday, April 1, submit an application for graduation (name will appear in the spring program) You are also eligible for a Graduate Association (GA) appointment with the Office of Human Resources (OHR) and/or your local HR business.

Partner (HRBP) you may be notified of upcoming changes. Please note that the spring 2022 semester end date and summer GA appointment start date have now changed. The Spring 2022 term will end on May 9, 2022, and the Summer 2022 term will begin on May 10, 2022.
Work with HRBP to ensure you are taking advantage of the correct payday timing for the workday. They will be new appointments or appointments entered into the system. Questions regarding GA appointment times and documentation should be directed to your HRBP and/or HR contact.
