Most of our professional development takes place on Friday evenings after the students leave. We determine our priorities for continuous improvement from the previous year in the spring or early summer. These priorities are based on many factors, but student learning and student safety come before our decisions.

The educational experience extends beyond the classroom. We encourage students to participate in our highly successful extracurricular program. The confidence gained through being part of teams and organizations is palpable. We want our students to make confident decisions about what to do in the future and be part of a culture that encourages others around them.
