Ask any teacher, administrator, or staff member, and they will tell you that we do our work with a single focus on student academic success.
We have the best students and the best district in Arizona, hands down! I am always very proud of everything our students do during the year. We all have a lot to celebrate. Speaking of celebrations, here’s just a taste of what our students and staff have been up to recently.

In accordance with federal statute, the Tolleson High School District is required to inform our community and our stakeholders of our intent to apply for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Grant. The following schools intend to apply: La Joya, University HS, Westview and West Point.

Students from the West Point High School Chinese Dragon Dance Team were part of an ABC 15 story about the Lunar New Year celebrations that took place in late January. The students worked hard, practicing twice a week before their Lunar New Year performance.

The students indicated that they all learned to work as a team and that the opportunity was really exciting. As a result of ABC 15’s story airing, organizers of another Chinese Lunar Year celebration in Mesa reached out to the West Point High School Chinese Dragon Dance Team with an invitation to perform in their celebration.
