> We also do Christmas Eve baking, as a fun family tradition. We always make a bunch of different sweets. Our favorite has to be sugar cookies! When we first started making them, it would take a good morning, however, the process has changed over the years.
As my daughter grew older, they helped more. Now we are rolling the dough for two while my little one cuts the cookies and pours the candy. My husband’s job is to handle the bread. Of course we have to have Christmas music playing while we bake.
We are in love with this music calendar. Not only beautiful, her music is out of this world. Every time you open the door, a different Christmas song. I used to open the door every day to listen to music.

My husband’s family has a wonderful Christmas tradition based on Christian wreaths. Every Sunday in Advent they will read a verse from the Bible and light a candle, put on their garlands. Each child will read the Bible, light a candle and say a prayer.
Then they will have “small pizzas” as their meal on the following Sunday. “Me Pizzas” are always made the day after Thanksgiving and frozen for work the following Sunday. Making “small pizza” is shared by all the brothers.
The mini pizzas are made in an assembly line fashion and each relative has a special job in making the mini pizzas. Christmas is all about family and love, making it the best time of the year for Christine.

It’s not just jewelry, it has to be something that represents something we’ve done or experienced during the year. This year we added beautiful mermaid jewelry. Why is a mermaid? because this year we didn’t go to the beach like we like to do every year.
