Zwift World Calendar – One question you might ask is: why are we only allowed to access two at a time? The reason for this is quite simple. Basically, there are so many Zwifters and the platform doesn’t want anyone riding on their own.

Zwift uses massive online multiplayer gaming technology to create rich, 3D worlds ready to explore. Join thousands of cyclists and runners in immersive playgrounds like London, New York and Paris, as well as our very own Watopia.

The Teamup calendar explained below is used much less frequently and only for events not listed on the official calendar.

Zwift will be hosting races with a host of professional cyclists, triathletes and runners. If you want to easily find an opportunity to ride or run with one of the stars, visit https://www.zwift.com/events/tag/ridewithpro. For those looking for an even bigger challenge, they should check out the Rapha Rising series of events and the Wahoo Climbing Mission.

Rapha Risin
g will be a back-to-back three-stage challenge event on the last weekend of February. More details will be revealed in the new year. Wahoo Climbing Missions return to Zwift. Four weeks from January 24. the upcoming Wahoo Climbing Mission will challenge Zwifters to climb to an altitude of 20,000 feet with additional unlocks at 10,000 feet and 15,000 feet.

Better start training! A virtual INEOS Grenadiers training camp will also take place in January. The world’s most successful stage racing team of its generation, INEOS Grenadiers, will share their training experience with Zwifters, who will have the unique opportunity to ride with the sport’s biggest stars.

Zwift doesn’t yet have a built-in calendar tool, so the community has developed its own methods for organizing group rides. The Teamup calendar is the most used tool, and the Zwift Riders Facebook group is used by some organizers who want additional information.

Individual racing is simple and great for anyone who wants to jump in and compete. Featuring a themed race each month with one round per week and multiple race day options, the ZRacing Monthly Series is a great place to start.

Also, each event can be completed within 1 hour. Category enforcement also allows you to race against people of the same level, making racing fair and fun for everyone. Recommended (Windows and Mac) Using the tag is a manageable way to use the Zwift preferences file.

This method is explained in Zwift Insider. ZwiftPref is a little tool that does the same (and more) created by Jesper Rosenlund Nielsen. Allows you to control which course Zwift starts from. You can find it here.

Of course, exploring Zwift’s ever-expanding list of trails remains one of the best reasons to get pedaling. Zwift will release new routes with more badges each month from December to March. There’s never been a better time to be on Zwift!

The Teamup method wins for me. But when I post my Pacific Wakeup Ride (PWR), it gets added to both calendars for maximum exposure. Until Zwift develops an internal calendar tool, we recommend this method for all tour operators.

You can access this community-driven Teamup calendar at www.zwiftcalendar.com. This calendar was used by the Zwift community, before ZwiftHQ had their own event calendar, but is currently not properly maintained. Zwifters usually use the official schedule because it is accurate.

While Zwift running is second-rate, heart-pounding fun, it’s also a great way to get in shape fast. Races can be used as short and effective workouts that allow you to get in shape while building community.

From beginners to elite athletes and everyone in between, Zwift has the race for you. Running on Zwift is the most fun and challenging thing you can do on an exercise bike. If you’ve never tried it, you owe it to yourself to try, no matter what your ability!

Recommended (for all platforms) Once you join an event, you can only access worlds and routes in the event. Don’t want to join an event or don’t see an event with the world/route you want? Use the Zwift Companion app to create a meeting or (for even more worlds and routes) create a club and then an event.

As the year draws to a close, many cyclists around the world look forward to Rapha’s Festive 500, an annual event where cyclists aim to ride 500,000 miles between Christmas and New Year. For the second year in a row, virtual miles count, which means you can be more flexible than ever before.

Worried about burning potatoes? No problem, stop by and take a look! The Festive 500 events are now live on Zwift – https://www.zwift.com/ca/rapha-festive-500. Winter is also the time for MASSIVE mass participation events. None bigger than the Tour de Zwift, a multi-stage event series that attracts hundreds of thousands of cyclists and runners each year.

Warm-up events begin in 2022. on January 3, and Phase 1 will begin on January 10. New this year, there will be longer stages on weekends to ensure the Tour de Zwift can fit into your schedule.

Event details will be revealed when registration opens on December 21. Most of the 10.1 mile course is flat. But there is a short steep climb near the end. Then there’s the long drag to the finish, where most of the damage happens if you’re racing.

The Tour de Zwift isn’t the only big challenge you’ll want to mark on your calendar. January sees the return of the Zwift Foundation series for the fifth time. Held on the first weekend of every month from January to March, the zFondo series offers three routes for each stage (kids, intermediate and big), each with a unique personal challenge for each Zwifter.
