One of SD2’s three “Pillar Programs,” the Squared Fellows Program provides underrepresented high school students in San Diego County with mentoring and in-depth experience in the breadth and depth of careers in STEM. This program gives students access to some of San Diego’s most innovative companies, and pairs them with a mentor who is willing to share their experience and support the students’ journey.

The Thursday before the district begins spring break, March 29, is now a day off for students if there is no snow day to make it up, and a school day if there is a day to make it up.
School District 2 supporters have approved calendar updates for the next two school years that add a day off that can be used for a snow day and release students an hour earlier on Wednesday. [San Diego, CA] April 27, 2021 – San Diego Squared (SD2) proudly launches today.
SD2 is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) non-profit community organization focused on connecting San Diego’s underrepresented students to the strengths of STEM by providing access to education, mentoring and resources that they in need.
