Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) recognizes that Métis students must represent themselves in the educational system in order to achieve academic success. It starts with primary education (kindergarten to third grade) and continues through high school and post-secondary education.

They are our response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s call for education agencies to develop age-appropriate educational materials about black residential schools. Red.
