From the world-renowned sound balance of Beal Hall to the state-of-the-art sprung floors in all of our dance studios, SOMD provides students with unparalleled support for their artistic endeavors.
A degree from the School of Music and Dance is the foundation for many professional endeavors in the performing arts and beyond. The artist development process teaches leadership, teamwork, planning and project management, verbal and non-verbal communication as well as creative and critical thinking.
