Attached to this letter are PDF and Excel versions of the payment and disbursement schedule for full-time, three-quarter, part-time, and less than part-time determinations of Federal Pell Grant awards for the 2022-2023 award year (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023).
By releasing the 2022-2023 FAFSA® on October 1, 2021, the Department is making available the Pell Grant payment and disbursement schedule so that institutions can notify students and families of their eligibility for federal Pell Grants.
All 2022-2023 Federal Pell Grant awards must be based on the attached schedule. Additionally, when using the attached schedule to award Pell Federal Grants to students, the entire nine-month EFC must always be used, regardless of the student’s actual length of attendance.
A Title IV COA used for full-time students for a full academic year is always fee-based, regardless of actual enrollment status or actual time, regardless of the student’s enrollment during the scholarship year. It is also important to note that statutory restrictions on using only certain cost factors to construct a COA still apply in certain circumstances.
For example, for less than half-time students, the COA only includes cost components for tuition and fees, books, equipment, transportation, limited-term room and board, and dependent care costs. As a reminder, when using the attached schedule to award Federal Pell Grants to students, the entire nine-month EFC must always be used, regardless of the student’s actual period of attendance.

On March 15, 2022, the President signed the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2022 (P.L. 117-103). Under this new appropriations law, the maximum Pell Grant award for the 2022-2023 award year will increase from $6,495 to $6,895 and the maximum Pell Grant eligible family contribution (EFC) will increase from 5,846 to 6,206.
Under section 401(b)(4) of the HEA, the minimum Pell Grant award is ten percent of the maximum award amount for the award year. Because we used the midpoint and cost of attendance (COA) rows in the EFC column to create the schedule, the actual minimum scheduled award amount for the 2022-2023 award year is $692.

A student’s eligibility to receive a federal Pell Grant award may be limited by section 401(c)(5) of the HEA, which limits lifetime Pell Grant eligibility to 12 semesters (or equivalent). You should review the information regarding Pell Grant eligibility and determining eligible lifetime use (LEU) limits posted on the Knowledge Center website.
For more information on LEU limits, see Dear Colleague Letter GEN-13-14 and Chapter 3 of Volume 3, Federal Student Aid Handbook. SNHU’s academic calendar changed for the ’22-’23 school year, affecting the start date of each campus semester.
Online and on-campus courses will be aligned, giving on-campus students the option to take both in-person and online classes. With the scholarships, as well as the qualifying facilities, it is not surprising that there are so many applicants against the existing quota.
Out of thousands of applicants, only hundreds of students are accepted here. Hmmm do you dare to try? Very relevant, currently LIPIA Banda Aceh branch is starting registration, let’s see! Attached to this letter are revised PDF and Excel versions of the schedule of payments and disbursements to determine Federal Pell Grant awards for the 2022-2023 award year (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023), three-quarter-time, half-time, and less than half-time.
For better readability, we have continued the practice of rendering multiple-page PDF versions of each of these schedules. All 2022-2023 Federal Pell Grant awards must be based on the attached revision schedule. Schools are reminded that students may be eligible to receive Pell Grant funding of up to 150 percent of the student’s scheduled Pell Grant awards for the award year.
To be eligible for additional Pell Grant funding, students must be eligible to receive Pell Grant funding for the payment period and be enrolled as at least a part-time student, as defined in 34 CFR § 668.2(b), during the payment period.
A student who has received Pell funding is an additional grant that exceeds 100 percent of the student’s Pell Grant scheduled award. For additional information, see Dear Colleague Letter GEN-17-06. Thanksgiving break, winter break, and spring break will continue as well as various public holidays throughout the school year.
Important dates will be added in the coming weeks to update the information page on the SNHU Parent and Family Information page. Under section 401(b)(4) of the HEA, the minimum Pell Grant award is 10 percent of the maximum award amount for the award year.
Because we use the midpoint and cost of attendance (COA) rows in the EFC column when creating the schedule, the minimum scheduled award amount for the 2022-2023 award year is $650. Academic calendar information will be sent by email at the beginning of the semester and printed at the time of transfer.
