Sulphur Springs Isd Calendar – The district planned to email parents asking them to commit to in-person, on-campus, or distance learning through the SSISD Virtual Academy during the first nine assessment weeks of the school year. Responses to pledges must be submitted by Tuesday, August 4.

Shifting the start date for students by 10 days gives the district more time to train teachers, and also gives teachers time to apply what they learn in those training sessions to prepare for online classes in the event of closures

All campuses start classes at 7:50 AM and end at 3:35 PM. The upcoming school year will consist of 158 instruction days (instead of the usual 168), 22 designated catch-up days in June 2021 (if there is a campus closure due to COVID-19), and 10 additional days for staff preparation.
