Founded more than 160 years ago, Albany Law School is the oldest independent law school in all of North America. Located in the state capitol in Albany, NY, numerous governors, state and Supreme Court justices, and even a president have attended this prestigious law school.
If the previous c1 or c2 is not fulfilled, the student will be excluded from the program. Students who do not have one or two courses to meet c3 criteria above may take a summer session after the junior year to complete these courses.

* Students must be available during this week for academic and other obligations, including journals, clinics, internships, meetings with advisors, mandatory DOWN sessions, and other out-of-class sessions with faculty. Teachers may schedule make-up classes between Tuesday, October 18th and Wednesday, October 19th.
For each primary school class, a number of students – no more than 10 – will be chosen to enroll in the program. Elections will be held in two periods: (1) before the start of the new year and (2) after the new year.
A portion of the annual allotment for each class entering Albany Law will be selected in the spring semester prior to initial enrollment in the new year. The rest of the students will be selected after the end of the new school year.
All students who wish to enter the program must choose one of Adelphi’s high school programs. a. Admission criteria before the New Year: Students who wish to enter the program must be better than the opinion of the admissions offices of both schools.

All students must have a minimum score of 550 on the Reading Comprehension and a minimum score of 550 on the Mathematical Analysis sections of the equivalent SAT or ACT and a weighted GPA of at least 3.40 in a rigorous high school.
curriculum vitae Each candidate must submit an essay to a predetermined question designed to inform motivation and the quality of the writing. Students admitted to the “3+3” program are guaranteed admission to Albany Law School after their junior year, provided they meet the stated criteria to continue in the program.
Upon successful completion of their first year at Albany Law School, students will transfer credits from Albany Law to Adelphi and receive their high school diploma. Upon successful completion of the remaining academic requirements at Albany Law, students will receive their law degree.
Students will pay tuition and fees to Adelphi for the first three years (full-time enrollment) and are considered Adelphi students during those years and at Albany Law during the three years that are part of the law school curriculum and are considered Albany.
Law students. in those years The Adelphi and Albany Acts will provide guidance on student finance including loans for each three-year period, respectively. Albany Law School’s law school application deadline is August 1st. The application fee for a full-time program at Albany Law School is $0.
