Customizing your routine a bit is definitely a plus, especially if you’re still deep into the Focus T25 program and not ready to step up to something more intense (like Tony Horton’s Insanity or P90X). The Focus T25 also offers cardio and strength training (with dumbbells and/or resistance bands).

Overall, the program’s focus on HIIT may be better for fat loss and toning than muscle building (but significant gains are still likely). Why do you need GAMMA? There is a law of training called progressive overload that states that you must continually overload the system being trained as it gets fitter in order to consistently achieve results.

FOCUS T25 is about time. This means that if you want your training time to stay consistent, you need to keep increasing the intensity over time to allow your body to adapt. I always like to have my program at hand in electronic form, so I don’t have to carry around the program that you get with the training program.
