Cherry picking season is upon us, and you know what that means—it’s time to start planning a road trip to Brentwood. Brentwood’s cherry picking season begins in mid-May and lasts about a month, and is a time of togetherness and abundance.

Here are a few favorites that promise fun, good company and lots of delicious cherries. The family-run Gabriel Farm that we visited last year is now Earthseed Farm, Sonoma County’s first black-owned and operated permaculture farm and center.
