High school students will be enrolled in 6 or 7 NCAA eligible courses each semester. A specific number of credits for each subject will be determined by the student’s graduation path, with completion of 24 credits required to qualify for graduation.

ure content and skills. Students will be required to take state tests (CMAS, PSAT, SAT) as well as identified district assessments.

Individualized Education Plan students will receive support from a certified special education teacher according to their IEP goals. Culturally and linguistically diverse students will need 45 minutes of daily oral instruction for language development. AddJUT is not a self-paced online learning experience and as such, students will not be able to skip material to advance quickly through courses.

Students will be expected to keep pace with the scope and sequence provided by the teacher. It is highly recommended that every primary student have a “learning coach” at home during daily independent work. Learning coaches can be parents, guardians, grandparents, or other adults identified by the parent/guardian or family.

The Learning Coach will be able to access guides for each unit of study to support the educational experience. District 60 offers an exceptional education program, a differentiated curriculum to support the learning needs of all students, integrated technology to enhance engaged learning, and social development opportunities inside and outside the classroom.
