Dallas College Academic Calendar 2022 – Prior to coaching, Smith played professionally for 10 seasons internationally and 12 seasons in the WNBA before retiring in 2019. Smith was drafted by the San Antonio Silver Stars with the 17th overall pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft.

Midway through the 2008 WNBA season, Smith was drafted by the Atlanta Dream before being traded to the Seattle Storm, where Smith played and won a championship in 2010! Smith was traded to the Connecticut Sun in 2015 and then to the Phoenix Mercury in 2017, where he finished his career.

The 2022-2023 academic calendar sets critical dates for the fall, spring, summer and mini-terms. Dallas College also offers a variety of flexible courses with different start, end, and withdrawal dates than those listed below. For questions please call 972-502-1612. In 2015, Coach Delgado returned to Dallas to coach the men’s and women’s soccer programs as an assistant coach at Paul Quinn College and became the women’s head coach in 2017.

The program has grown rapidly from 3 to 25 student-athletes under the leadership of Coach McKinney. In just the second year of competing at the Red River Athletic Conference track and field championships, the Paul Quinn Tigers had two athletes place in the top 10.

In high school, Camille was named NC Miss Basketball (Class) Player of the Year by the Associated Press NC. 3A; 2003). Camille was named Charlotte Observer State Player of the Year and NC Gatorade Player of the Year (2002, 2003).

In 2001, Camille shared AP Player of the Year honors at Carver High School and helped her team to a 30-0 record and a state championship. Camille is a three-time all-state selection and averaged 20.2 points and 11.1 rebounds per game during her senior year.

She scored 2,168 career points in her high school career, was a McDonald’s High School All-American and played in the 2002 USA Basketball Youth Development Festival. Camille was also named Piedmont Triad All-Conference, Piedmont Triad Player of the Year four consecutive years.

Coach Michael Delgado has been coaching at the college level since 2009. He began his coaching career shortly after beginning his time as a college football player at Howard Payne University. He started as a student instructor and became an assistant after earning a degree in Spanish education.

Last season, Coach Espinosa and the Tigers went from 7-25 to 26-2 (12-2 RRAC), making a historic 19-game turnaround from the previous year. Coach Espinosa led the 2021-2022 Tigers to the school’s first USCAA Men’s Division I National Championship and third overall national championship in school history.

The Tigers also won the Red River Athletic Conference West (RRAC) regular season title for the first time since joining the conference in 1998. The Tigers finished the 2021-2022 season with the most RRAC wins and highest winning percentage in a season in the program.

History . Coach McKinney received his BS in Kinesiology from Prairie View A&M University. After graduating, he opened a training center where he trained hundreds of athletes. This gave the coach the background and experience to thrive at the next level.

Coach McKinney’s student-athletes excel not only on the court, but in the classroom as well. Coach McKinney’s team maintains over a 3.0 GPA. Internationally, Smith played for various teams in Israel (2015 Israel League Champion) and China.

He also played in Turkey, Limassol, Sirpus, Ragusa, Sicily (Cup Champion 2016), Lebanon (Arab Cup Champion 2017), Montpellier, France and Venice, Italy (Euro 2018 runner-up). In his first season under Paul Quinn, Espinoza led the Tigers to their most conference wins since 2012-2013.

Additionally, two PQC players received RRAC All-Conference honors; Spencer McIlvey earned RRAC First Team and Matteo Eschey earned RRAC Second Team honors. McElvey also joined the school’s 1,000-point club. Espinoza serves as the EYBL Director and 17U Head Coach for Drive Nation, founded by former NBA All-Star Jermaine O’Neal.

This summer, Drive Nation qualified for the 2021 Nike Peach Jam and currently has the highest-ranked players in ESPN’s top 100 in the nation. He currently coaches the 360 ​​Volleyball Club in Arlington, Texas. Coach Gonzalez brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Paul Quinn College volleyball program.

Served five seasons as assistant women’s volleyball coach at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. While at Fisk University, Coach Gonzalez served as an Admissions Counselor and Director of International Student Services in the Office of Student Engagement.

He also worked at Howard University in Washington, DC. and served as
Associate Director of Minority Services in the Office of Admissions. He was recently selected to the Big XII Reach & Teach Volleyball Diversity Program.

In 2021, Coach Delgado took over the men’s program and led the team to a #3 seed (the highest in school history) and a third straight year at the USCAA National Championship with a third place finish.

Coach Keldrick McKinney is a Dallas, Texas native entering his third year as head track and field/cross country coach at Paul Quinn College. After serving one year as Associate Head Coach under Coach Maurice West; Coach McKinney got his chance from Paul Quinn’s legendary athletic director, James “Zip” Summers.

The Tigers were the #1 seed at the USCAA Nationals and had a dominant performance with 3 double digit wins. There were seven ties and ten lead changes in the championship game. After trailing by four at the half, 38-34, Bryant and Stratton pulled ahead 67-65 with 6:33 left to play.

A minute later Henry Hampton hit a jumper to give Paul Quinn the lead and go on a 10-0 run to seal the win for the Tigers. Jamare Redus led PQC with 18 points while Hampton finished with 17 points.

Spencer McElwee added 12 points, Jamere Redus scored 11, and Steven Tynes had seven points and nine assists. Coach Patrick Gonzalez is a native of Fort Worth, Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice from Texas Wesleyan University.

and M.Ed. in Sports Administration from Concordia University in Austin, Texas. Coaching volleyball for over thirteen years. He has trained at high school, club and college levels. Coach Delgado is a Dallas native and graduated from Mesquite Poteet High School as District MVP and All-State.

He holds a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University. Living in the Highland Hills campus neighborhood, he lives by his motto, #AlwaysRefuse2Lose.
